Gordon

For many years, Golene Louis Gordon has dedicated her life to serving the community and aboard. Golene was born and raised in Haiti, moved to Florida in 1991 when her parents petitioned for her. In 2007 she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. Golene went on to earn her Master of Business Administration Leadership for Managers in 2011, and also earned her Human Resource Management certification at Florida Atlantic University in 2017. 

Golene began her career in the banking industry in Miami, FL and later moved to Boynton Beach where she purchased her first home in December 2006. She continues to serve the community as a Real Estate Agent helping many families realized their American dreams. Golene is a former Board Member of the Boynton Beach Art Commission, integrated in selection of Art for public places. She is a current member of the CRA Community Redevelopment Agency advisory board also  an alternate board member of the planning & development.

When the 7.1 magnitude catastrophic earthquake devastated Haiti in January 2010. Golene offered herself as a volunteer to the Red Cross to service her community with no hesitation. She joined the Operation UNIFIED RESPONSE HAITI 2010 team and served as a translator for about 25 days on board the NAVAL HOSPITAL SHIP, USNSCOMFORT (T-AH20) Under the leadership of captain J.J. Ware. Mrs. Gordon has volunteer her time to help members of her church and has become one of the go to person for many in the community with certain housing problems including saving their homes from foreclosure. Golene has volunteered in many organizations such as SEIU Service Employee International Union, the Soup Kitchen of Boynton BeachHabitat for Humanity Boynton Beach project and Boynton cares International coastal cleanupGolene has been instrumental in implementing a host of Financial workshop events that have drastically helped people reduced debts and save money.
